The Great Somerset Sunday Lunch
On Sunday 20th October we’ll be celebrating the best of Somerset’s autumn produce in Wells, the heart of rural Somerset.
Come and join us!
Centred on Wells historic Market Square the event features an Artisan Producers’ Market, a Milk Debate in the Bishop’s Barn; a Cake Competition; a Vintage Tea Party; cookbook talks, foraging walks; an all-day artisan cider and beer bar and a choice of great Sunday lunches. Whether it’s a stunning pop up chef cooked lunch in the Town Hall, a Somerset Sunday special in one of Wells’ pubs and restaurants, or cider and street food, we’ll have something to suit your taste. Come down and celebrate Somerset’s fabulous produce at the Great Somerset Sunday Lunch. FREE ENTRY.
“It’s fantastic in an area that has so much in the way of wonderful food and drink to see an event like this going ahead. We need to make as much noise as we possibly can about the brilliant quality of produce grown and made in Somerset.”
David Heath MP, Minister of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
